A Postdoctoral position in Biological Physics is immediately available at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Ohio University. The successful candidate will work in a joint interdisciplinary program of Ohio University and a Biotechnology firm to model and analyze calcium-signaling patterns in cultured human brain tissues. The candidate will spend at least one third of her/his efforts at the Biotechnology firm. Prerequisite is enthusiasm for interdisciplinary research and basic knowledge in Neuroscience, Biomathematics, Nonlinear Dynamics and computer programming.
