Call for Proposals to Organize and Host SMB Annual Meeting

SMB is calling for proposals to organize the annual meeting in the summer of 2002 AND the summer of 2003. Consideration of proposals for the summer 2002 meeting will begin on February 1, 2001. Consideration of proposals for the summer 2003 meeting will begin on March 1, 2001. We try to achieve geographic balance in meeting location, and the 1998 meeting was in Amsterdam, the 1999 meeting in Salt Lake City, and the 2000 meeting will be in Hilo, Hawaii. Proposals for joint meetings with other societies are encouraged. Send the proposal in electronic form to Alan Hastings and contact Alan Hastings, or previous meeting organizers for more information.
