A postdoctoral position is available in Dr. Carmen Canavier’s lab at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans to model theta-nested gamma oscillations in the hippocampal formation in close collaboration with John White’s lab at Boston University. We use both theoretical and computational approaches in a synergistic loop with our collaborators’ experiments. We use both the NEURON and BRIAN simulation packages with easy access to our own Linux servers and the University’s computational cluster. Please apply at
