The first virtual Annual Meeting of the Society for Mathematical Biology, eSMB2020, is happening in 5 weeks (www.smb2020.org). Abstract submission and early, complementary registration close at the end of day tomorrow, July 15th. Registration is required for participation in eSMB2020.
We have uploaded a brief introduction video to our conference platform, Sococo, for you to get an idea of how the conference will look and feel (http://smb2020.org/logistics/). An exciting feature of this platform is the virtual poster session. Details about poster formats and uploads will be made available on the FAQ site (http://smb2020.org/faq/). We strongly encourage you to submit your poster abstracts as each of the 8 SMB Subgroups will be awarding three Poster Prizes for the best poster in the categories: graduate student presenter, postdoc presenter, and faculty presenter. Submit your abstract and show your best work on a virtual poster – without the hassle of carrying a tube through airport security!
