Letters in Biomathematics is proud to join several peer-reviewed publications in creating freely accessible COVID-19 archives. We are now accepting manuscripts on COVID-19 to be published in a Special Issue.
The novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) disease, named COVID-19 emerged in Wuhan, Hubei Province in China in December 2019. The outbreak is already responsible for loss of hundreds of thousands of lives and has become an unprecedented threat to public health worldwide. Currently many research groups are focusing on re-examining epidemic models to control and predict the global spread of the virus.
With this issue we are aiming to establish a collection of articles on mathematical models for transmission of this and similar infectious diseases. Understanding the epidemic trends that started from Wuhan city will help in predicting the future outbreaks as well as in identifying the best possible mitigation strategies.
Hence, Letters in Biomathematics is now accepting manuscripts related to COVID-19 for a special issue, with immediate posting after rapid provisional approval within 5- business days in the LiB:COVID-19 Archives.
With its posting in LiB:COVID-19 Archives, your article will get full and immediate exposure while going through the journal’s standard rigorous peer-review. Upon acceptance, it will be published free of charge in COVID-19 Special Issue.
Letters in Biomathematics is an online open access journal. It is indexed by all major indexing agencies and is listed in the DOAJ. Please visit lettersinbiomath.org for more information and to browse the current content.
We hope that you will join our efforts to make this timely research topic accessible to all.
