Celebrating Alan Turing’s Work in Mathematical Biology
29th September 2021
University of Sheffield, UK
This one-day event celebrates Alan Turing’s theories of pattern formation and recent advancements in the area. We aim to bring together Turing pattern researchers with Turing experts and the wider mathematical biology community.
Speakers include Turing experts Sir Dermot Turing and Dr Jonathan Swinton and mathematical biologists Dr Fiona Macfarlane and Dr Andrew Krause.
We also have space for five contributed talks and we invite all attendees to submit an abstract.
The attendance fee is £10, which includes a lunch and an optional drinks reception.
This is an in-person event and subject to Covid-19 restrictions.
